The Romedia Foundation needs a Program Manager

The Romedia Foundation is a Romani non-governmental organization based in Budapest, Hungary, working to contribute to a positive perception of Romani ethnic identity, combating anti-Romani prejudice and to provide alternative information to policy makers on the Roma through the production of films and videos, international multi-media campaigns and public events. Our latest documentary film, Jazz Way Out, is coproduced by HBO Europe.

The foundation’s award-winning 42-episode news documentary series Mundi Romani – The World through Roma Eyes was broadcast on Duna Television. Our “I’m a Roma Woman” video campaign available online has been running since 2009 and has been further developed through our BUVERO Roma woman media camp – which has provided 84 young Romani women from Hungary, Germany, Serbia and Macedonia  with competence in citizen journalism and in employing cutting-edge audiovisual and digital media techniques.
