An indigenous Plastic Company is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:


Job Title: Mechanical Engineer


Location: Kano


Requirements



  • The Candidate should possess a good knowledge of plastic molding machines production Process.

  • The Candidate should be able to repair the blow molding machines and Injections machines for plastic.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing process of plastic as well as characteristics and materials of plastic is also important.

  • Ability to work with a team and effectively communicate

  • Efficient oral and written communication skills are essential.

  • 10-15 years of experience in relevant field.

  • Qualification: Not necessarily a graduate but possesses the stated experience and knowledge.


 


Job Title: Machinist


Location: Kano


Requirements



  • The Candidate should have proven experience as a machinist

  • Experience in using and / or programming manual, semi-automated and automated tools also machine’s (lathes, grinders etc.)

  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements

  • Knowledge of the properties of the metals and others materials.

  • Ability to read blueprint (schematic and manuals)

  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an added advantage.


 


Job Title: Manager


Location: Kano


Requirements



  • The Candidate should have a degree in any of the following Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related discipline

  • 10 years and above verifiable experience in production and manufacturing process and techniques

  • Candidate should plan effective production schedules for the plastic company

  • Manage human and material resources to meet production targets

  • Develop and manage production budget and also implement cost control programmes

  • Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems

  • Implement standard operating procedures for production operations

  • Should have knowledge of raw materials in plastic production

  • Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant department including procurement. distribution and management.

  • Should possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills Expatriates with the requisite stated experience are also encouraged to apply.


 


Job Title: Mechanical Technician


Location: Kano


Requirements



  • Good knowledge on blow molding machines production process, maintenance and repairs of blow machine (plastic).

  • Knowledge of manufacturing process of plastic as well as characteristics and materials of plastic is also important.

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • 10-15 years of experience in relevant field.

  • Qualification: diploma in Mechanical Engineering.


 


Job Title: Lubricant Chemist


Location: Kano

Requirements



  • The Candidate should possess a high school diploma/BSc in relevant fields

  • Should have 5 years and above experienca in Blending of lubricants in line with American Petroleum Institute (API), Nigerian SON and DPR Standards without compromise.

  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of blending of lubricants as a part of the interview process

  • Ability to work with a team and effectively communicate

  • Should possess presentation skills and should be able to organize workshops

  • Efficient oral and written communicationskills are essential.

  • The candidate should be ready to work at any location.
