Job Title: Warehouse/Storekeeper

Location: Abeokuta

Terms of Employment : Full Time

Job Brief

• We are looking for an experienced Warehouse/Storekeeper that coordinates general warehouse operations and activities including shipping and receiving deliveries, conducting stock checks, and documenting warehouse transactions and storage of inventory on the farm

Job Description

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the material handling equipment.


• Comply to safety, health and operational quality standards


• Coordinate arrangement or rotation of warehouse materials and items


• Coordinate cargo or material handling security procedures


• Coordinate trans-shipment and trans-loading operations


• Coordinate warehouse operations in accordance with techniques in manufacturing and warehousing.


• Execute measures to address operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs


• Execute operations according to different warehousing situations and contingencies


• Facilitate compliance of height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving, arranging items on pallets according to storage plan


• Implement methods and techniques to manage warehoused goods


• Implement methods and techniques to manage time and temperature sensitive materials.


• Perform stock control and housekeeping operations of warehouse materials and items


• Track material handling schedules to ensure timelines are complied with


• Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom


• Receive, unload, and shelve supplies


• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies


• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping


• Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses


• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control

Person Specification

• Minimum Qualification of OND or HND in any relevant course


• Experience in storekeeping, inventory or recordkeeping


• Candidate must reside around Lagos or Abeokuta and must be willing to reside on the Farm


• Basic computer skills.


• Knowledge of proper book keeping and inventory management


• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment


• Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management


• Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time


• Integrity and self confidence
