The accountant’s duty is to manage, govern and review all accounts and budgets of the Organisation. He/She will be responsible for checking and supervising all financial reports and documents.
B – SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to maintain and keep proper books and records.
- Reconciliation of Bank Statements.
- Carryout stock taking on quarterly basis.
- Raising of payment voucher for all expenses.
- Month end forecasting and reporting of budgets.
- Ad-hoc assignments as distributed periodically.
- Liaison with both FIRS and LIRS officers concerning tax matters.
Required Competencies, knowledge and Skills
- Ability to discuss financial matters with utmost confidentiality required.
- Articulate and well organized with a highly developed sense of priorities.
- Self-motivated with drive, energy and initiative.
- Integrity, honesty and total commitment to organisational goals
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- ICAN professional qualification is required.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in similar roles.
- Knowledge of sage one cloud will be an added advantage.
Remuneration.
- # 200,000 – #300,000
